Diana Hrka, the mother of Stefan, one of the 16 victims of the fall of the canopy at the Railway Station in Novi Sad, who has been on hunger strike for the tenth day Chacilenda, says that she is a little more weak, that she can barely stand on her feet, "but it will be fine".
She still did not want to comment on the invitation to the interview sent to her by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, nor did she want to say what she talked about with him on the phone.
"Even before the cannon fire (yesterday morning), the boys were trying to get to my tent. No one reacted. No one came to investigate, that's why I don't want to talk to anyone. This is not going in a good direction, neither on their side nor on my side. I'm not threatening anyone, but God forbid something happens to me, you know how this will end," said Hrka.
She repeated that the institutions are not working, that they are passing the bouncing ball from one to the other.
"Why are you lying to this people," she asked.
"God forbid someone gets endangered here, they won't do well either," she added.
She pointed out that no one will know what she talked about with Vučić until the time comes.
When asked if she would continue her hunger strike, she said she would.
"I am a child who lived during the war, and was more hungry than full. I was hungry many times, I will not end my hunger strike. I can do this and I will, let them be ashamed and embarrassed," said Hrka through tears.
