Minister of Interior Affairs Ivica Dacic he said today that the police are female students Nikolina Sinđelić "just brought her" into the building of the Government of Serbia, in order to wait there for the vehicle that was supposed to take her to the Stari Grad Police Station and rejected the student's allegations that the commander of the Unit for the Security of Certain Persons and Facilities (JZO) Marko Krichak sexually and physically abused her.
Dacic pointed out that the police react when "untruths are involved" and added that the police "do not hide anything", reports the Nova portal.
"According to the police announcement, which was reported on the same day, Nikolina Sinđelić and five other people participated in an illegal assembly and blockade of traffic around 23:14 p.m. on August XNUMX. They called on citizens to attack the police, and then she targeted police officers. The police brought her into the Government building to wait for an official vehicle to transport her to the Stari Grad police station. Why? Because they would have been attacked on the street," Dačić said.

He stated that a torch was found with the student.
"About 1 and 30 were brought to PS Stari grad, and the prosecutor on duty was immediately contacted, who said that there were grounds for misdemeanor charges. They were released from custody after about three hours. There was no tying or mistreatment, all actions were carried out in accordance with the law, solely to preserve order and peace," Dačić said.
Sinđelić filed a criminal complaint against Kričko for physical and sexual abuse during the detention after the protest on Thursday in Belgrade.
