Can a list with 45 percent of votes get a majority in the Assembly? It can. The key is in the census and the distribution of mandates. Here's how it works in Serbia

Of the 49 associates of the Center for Social Stability, which presents itself as a non-governmental organization, it is not possible to establish a connection with the Serbian Progressive Party for only two, write "Vijesti" from Podgoprika. What is his role in the regime of Aleksandar Vučić
Center for Social Stability from Novi Sad, who is behind a series of "documentary" films in which he lashes out at those who criticize the regime of Aleksandar Vučić and who organized progressive "blockades against blockades" throughout Serbia in 2025, has a network of 49 associates - only two of whom cannot be determined to have a direct or indirect connection with the ruling party in Serbia - Serbian progressive party (SNS), the analysis of Montenegrin "Vijesti" shows.
Of the 49 listed contributors on the site Centra za društvenu stabilnost, at least 15 are officially members of the SNS, including those who were members of that party in the Serbian Parliament, officials in the provincial parliament of Vojvodina, councilors and officials in local parliaments, as well as members of the Presidency or the Main Board of the SNS.
Twenty-four associates are employed in state and Vojvodina institutions or companies controlled by that party, eight of them are connected to SNS in other ways, while "Vijesti" was unable to establish a connection with SNS for only two people through an internet search.
The Digital Forensic Center (DFC) writes that the most prominent collaborators of the Center are members of the SNS in Vojvodina. Nemanja Zavišić is the vice president of the provincial assembly, and Nebojša Kuzmanović is the director of the Archives of Vojvodina. Tamara Davidović is employed at the Fund for European Affairs and Development of AP Vojvodina, and Aleksa Grubešić is the Deputy Provincial Secretary for Social Policy, Demography and Gender Equality in the Provincial Government of Vojvodina.
The director of the "largest Serbian think-tank" is, as the Center for Social Stability describes itself, Ognjen Karanović, who is present in public as a political analyst in the regional media, which daily glorifies the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.
Among the collaborators is Nemanja Starović, the current Minister for European Integration, who in the previous convocation of the Government of Serbia headed the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs.
One of the collaborators of the center is i Gradimir Bankovic who since the beginning of the year has been the editor-in-chief of a number of newly founded local magazines
The Center for Social Stability has on several occasions been the organizer of protests by "citizens who oppose the blockades", which serve as a counterweight to the demonstrations against the Vučić regime.
In February of last year, that organization submitted constitutional complaints to the Constitutional Court of Serbia for violation of the constitutionally guaranteed right to education and attending classes in primary schools, as a response to the suspension of work of some primary schools in Serbia - a sign of protest against the Vučić regime.
More "documentary series" and films can be found on the website of the Center for Social Stability.
Thus, the series "Anatomy of Deception" deals with the rejection of the verdict that genocide was committed in Srebrenica, but also with the controversial case of Racak in Kosovo, which was the reason for the NATO bombing.
The series "Time of Terror" deals with the "violent behavior of the opposition and blockaders", which they call "one of the most difficult periods in the history of Serbia".
The series "(De)blockade", "Dossie (ex) Cathedral", "Dossie Lex Specialis" and "Dossie NGO" deal with the "colored revolution" in Serbia, while the series "Fifth Column", published before the big protest in Slavia on March 15 last year, "exposes four columns through which the attack on the state is currently being carried out, with the key question - who makes up the fifth column?".
The center also produced a series "Evil era" in which he targets ANEM president Veran Matić, sequels about numerous journalists were also announced. Among other things, about Filip Švarm, editor-in-chief of "Vremena".
Recently, a documentary about the referendum in Montenegro was published - "Referendum - the story of invented freedom".
That "documentary" was made on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the referendum on Montenegrin independence, it was broadcast on May 20 and 21 in two parts on two Montenegrin televisions with a national frequency - TV Prva and TV Adria, as well as on televisions "Informer", "B92" and "Dokumentarna TV" in Serbia.
The Center for Social Stability was created in 2004, it was stated on the website of this organization.
However, in the database of the Agency for Business Registers, 2012 is stated as the year of establishment.
"Throughout our existence, we have advocated for promoting tolerance in public dialogue, strengthening awareness of the necessity of democracy as a political and social value system, and proposing new solutions that would improve civil society, on patriotic grounds," the organization's website states.
As he further writes, at the end of 2017, "young intellectuals, enthusiasts, enter the Center for Social Stability, with the ambition to contribute to the development of the social debate with their work and promote a model of non-conflict reaching key solutions".
At the beginning of 2023, the Center for Social Stability received the title of "true Serbian patriots" from the President of Serbia on Instagram.
