Branimir Nestorović (1954) is a retired full professor of the Faculty of Medicine, former head of pulmonology at the University Children's Clinic in Tiršova, respected allergist. He never apologized for it or accepted responsibility. He said later that he would rather die than receive the vaccine, and the list of his bizarre statements and attitudes is more than numerous, such as the one that "aliens have blue eyes, so they mated with human women and that's how blue and green eyes came about." is a guest of the YouTube channel Balkan Info. His subjects are parallel worlds, black holes and a portal to another dimension that he claims is controlled by CERN.
"The 'technique' used by Dr. Nestorović in his media appearances is a proven formula for spreading fake news — the basis of (dis)information can be an event that really happened, but which was completely taken out of context to fit into a conspiracy narrative. Political career
Nestorović entered politics as a member of the Serbian Restoration Movement in the 2022s, because, as he said, monarchist ideas were close to him; in the "government of national unity" he was the assistant minister of education. He stated that for a short time, after the Fifth of October, he was a member of the Democratic Party; in the XNUMX elections, he supported the Patriotic Block, which consisted of POKS and Dveri; there were also various political flirtations and associations, so that today he is at the head of the group of citizens "We - the voice of the people" - prof. About politics, he said that it is something that "horribly takes away energy", "a short-term human activity". He stated that if he were to run, he would have 20-25 percent of the vote. "You know that it would be the second strongest party in Serbia. You all know that, which we all pretend. I don't have that ambition, but if it really becomes a fuss, without any thought," he said at the end of 2021, at the conference of the "Knights of the Order of the Dragon" Association, of which he is the founder and president. Milivoj Bešić described Nestorović's political views for Insider television as "emphatically right-wing and ideological, with a touch of narodnik populism", also sociologically and ideologically closer to Srpski's progressive party.
