Borko Drašković, director Republic Geodetic Institute, was dismissed at the session of the Government of Serbia, announced the portal Nova.rs.
Drašković held the position of director of RGZ for 11 years.
In recent months, he stood out for the public war that the institution was waging with announcements against the President of the Municipality of Čajetin, Milan Stamatović around the land on Zlatibor. Things went so far that the conflict was also conducted from the official account of RGZ. It is not known whether the dismissal of Drašković is related to this.
The former director of RGZ was also in a public war with the former Minister of Construction, Goran Vesić, who made an open "threat" that he would deal with the cadastre. He criticized the work of RGZ, pointing out that they do everything to avoid contact with citizens and communicate with them only online and through lawyers.
After that, there was a response from the top of this institution through the trade union Geosindicat, in which Vesić was retaliated with the same measure, criticizing the work of the minister.

Despite this conflict with a high-ranking state official and SNS official, Drašković remained in the chair.

He received a salary of 315.000 dinars as director of the RGZ, according to data from the website of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. His property card states that he is the owner of a three-room house of 130 square meters, an outbuilding of 72 square meters, a vineyard and a business space of 36 square meters. He also owns two apartments, 98 and 51 square meters, and has two garage spaces. He drives a Punto car from 2002, and has savings in the bank.
