Students and citizens continued on Sunday (April 27) to block it they enter buildings Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS) in Takovska and Aberdareva streets, as well as a studio in Kosutnjak.
In the afternoon, the students were joined by Radovan Saratlić, a journalist from Nova, with a bicycle that he used to accompany the students to Strasbourg.
In front of the building in Kosutnjak, an exchange of badges was organized.
The blockade of RTS began on April 14 at 22 p.m., and the students are demanding the announcement of a new competition for members of the Council of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media (REM).
In Aberdare Street, students had breakfast with war veterans this morning, and football was also played, reports FoNet.
In front of the RTS building, there is still a stand of RTS workers where the petition on REM is signed. As they state, they have about 20.000 signatures, and about 9.000 in online form, N1 reported.
Since the beginning of the blockade, the public service has been broadcasting the program according to the modified scheme, and it was announced on the website that there were no security guards in the building for three days, because the students blocking RTS did not allow the security guards to be replaced on Thursday morning.
A session of the Parliamentary Committee for Culture and Information is scheduled for Monday, April 28, which was requested by the members of the opposition.
On the agenda is the annulment of the old and the initiation of a new procedure for the election of REM Council members.
