Taking into account that the majority Albanian environment is characterized by a high natural increase, while in the environment where Serbs live, the birth rate is low, it can be concluded that the number of Albanians in these two municipalities in the south of Serbia has increased.
MP Shaip Kamberi hinted at the possibility of using the growing numbers as political capital: "Let's prove that the Preševo Valley is Albanian."
General mobilization
In the south of Serbia, there seems to be a general mobilization of local Albanians, "Vreme" wrote in the text "General mobilizationbefore the beginning of the census. But don't panic, there is no new armed conflict in the forecast in the region that is still recovering from the one in 2000/2001. year, although the mobilization in question is in some way a consequence of the aforementioned conflict. Now the goal is not to conquer territories, but to show in the population census that Albanians make up the majority in Bujanovac, Preševo and Medveđa, but also that they have an enviable number at the level of the Pčinj district (25-30 percent).
