Alexander Vulin, former Minister of Internal Affairs and director of BIA and current senator of Republika Srpska, assessed that Serbia Ratko Mladić he owes a state and military funeral, as well as the declaration of a day of mourning.
In a written statement, he stated that Mladić did not die among the people he loved, nor did he have the opportunity to visit his daughter's grave, but he said that, in his opinion, his name will remain among to the Serbs.
"From Gavrilo Princip to Ratko Mladić, the best Serbs are killed in chains. He didn't die among those he loved and he didn't cry at his daughter's grave, but he won't die among Serbs, and there will be someone to cry for him," Vulin said in a written statement, as reported by FoNet.
He pointed out that if the Serbs had not "sold" Mladić, the Republika Srpska owes him his life, and all Serbs owe him gratitude and love.

The president of the New Democratic Party, Miloš Jovanović, announced that the news of Mladić's death deeply shook him.
He assessed that Mladić took responsibility in the most difficult moments, when many did not want it, and that he led the fight for the freedom of the Serbian people on the other side of the Drina.
He added that, in his opinion, the Republika Srpska and the Serbian people are grateful to him for that, and on behalf of the New DSS, he sent his condolences to the family and citizens.
The MI - Strength of the People movement announced that it was deeply saddened to receive the news of Mladić's death, assessing that the Serbian nation has lost one of the most significant military figures in recent history.
The announcement states that Mladić, as commander of the Army of Republika Srpska, permanently marked the history of Republika Srpska and its army with his actions.
That movement pointed out that, according to their opinion, Mladić remained true to his military oath, his duty to his homeland and his responsibility to the people and soldiers until the end of his life. His name, as they say, is inextricably linked with the defense of Republika Srpska.
Reactions of the regime media to the death of Mladić
In the statement, harsh criticism was directed at the Hague Mechanism for rejecting the request that Mladić, due to his serious health condition, be transferred to Serbia for treatment with state guarantees.
