Lawyer and vice president of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina Alexander Olenik he stated that he was on an informational interview in the premises Directorate of Criminal Police (UKP) was a little more than two hours, that they were interested in where he got his knowledge about the sound cannon, adding that "the sentences he said before that conversation were only confirmed."
He assessed that "unfortunately, the police have become a political tool in the hands of the ruling majority, the regime of Aleksandar Vučić, and all with the help of the prosecution."
"Every administrative body has the right to refuse an order if it is illegal, we have seen that the police know how to refuse orders from the prosecution when it is in some political interest. My opinion is that they should have refused, to tell the prosecutor - there are no conditions, you are abusing the authority you have, you are trying to make the victims into someone who has committed a crime," says Olenik.
They, he adds, "were interested in where his knowledge of Fr 'sound cannon'".
"How many times have I said - why, why did I mention Vučić, I presented all the evidence I have, that is, I said that from my side it comes directly from the victims. As the representative of the injured parties, I have the right and obligation to speak publicly, so that the citizens know that on March 15, the state terrorism carried out by Vučić entered a new phase with the use of sound weapons. Of course, that was included in the minutes that will be submitted to the prosecutor, I am very interested in what the prosecutor will do with that statement," he says.
He pointed out that "what we are doing now is so incredible."
"The only example that comes to my mind is, it's noon, we say - it's a nice summer day in Belgrade, President Vučić comes and says it's 23 p.m. and it's night, we say, wait, it's daytime, noon - no, no, if you say it's daytime and noon, you go to the police. We've come to that, it's completely unbelievable to me. I expected someone in the UKP to refuse, to say - I'm not going to act illegally. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, that was done conversation," he says.
He points out that he is "not surprised", and he also announced the next steps. And that, he says, is a criminal complaint against Prosecutor VJT Marković, because "he conducts the pre-investigation procedure without any basis".

"It can't happen that it just stays on this, that someone publicly tries to transfer the victims to someone who committed a crime, that's the biggest injustice," says Olenik.
