Only compulsory vaccination of children eradicates HPV

"When we started talking to parents in Serbia about why they should vaccinate their children against HPV, we realized that a large number of them do not know what diseases this virus causes," says Gordana Plemić. "In addition to them, we noticed another group of parents who are absolutely familiar with the problem. Simply, because they have it. These are parents suffering from HPV, mainly women with malignant or pre-malignant changes on the cervix, which is a large number of them."

Origin of cancer

The organism is no longer viewed in the usual way, but as a society of cells that have established a stable cooperation during long organic evolution. Thus, viewed from an evolutionary perspective, cancer appears as a rival that we may not be able to eliminate, since it is a remnant of the natural history in which we arose. So it's probably better to accept him as a legitimate doppelgänger to live with. Efforts in modern medicine to keep this disease under control, as well as some other chronic diseases, are going in that direction

She demands blood from people.

Blood is wanted this summer - but literally. While Transfusion Institutes and the Red Cross appeal that blood supplies are at a minimum, chronic patients suffer because they cannot receive a transfusion when they need it.

Organ donation and transplantation

The path of an organ

Although the lists number about 2000 patients waiting for a new organ, the number of consents obtained for donation and transplantation, which are carried out annually in Serbia, is far from sufficient to reduce the waiting lists. Those who are on the lists wait for the "most important call" every day, and often lose hope. Someone who has experienced brain death through organ donation, in a way, continues to live in the body of the person to whom the organ was transplanted, but in Serbia the story of transplantation and organ donation is still accompanied by stigma

And he didn't hold a grudge against King Alexander...

The king vilified him in the press because he was against his marriage with Drago Mašin, political opponents put him in prison and - until recently, the public forgot him even though Vladan Đorđević was one of those who built modern Serbia

Fake doctors and medical staff: How they promote surveillance inspections

A routine procedure turned into a nightmare for student Anđela Ikodinović from Cakč. She's not the only one. The Ministry of Health says that the control of non-professional doctors is not in the domain of the health inspection

The use of the reputation of the white coat

In considering the relationship between doctors and politicians, Cunningham wrote in the fifties of the 20th century that the "doctor's dilemma" stems from the fact that politics is a "business of dirty hands", while medicine has always been a profession of "clean hands" - perhaps it can be interpret today's obsessive need of politicians to surround themselves with the support and authority of doctors, surgeons and heads of hospitals
