The way out is in the "green infrastructure" of the city
"Instead of preserving its coasts and former industrial areas as the most precious resource for the development of green infrastructure, processes are underway that can permanently threaten the urban ecosystems of the city and prevent the successful development of the green network. The way in which the expansion of Belgrade on the water is planned, which, contrary to the planning system of the city, aggressively appropriates and privatizes the Sava coast is of particular concern. If this process is implemented, we are in danger of finally losing the coastal areas that are key to the development of green infrastructure, and therefore the ability to we are adapting to climate change"
