Kiev and Odesa are exposed to the fiercest Russian attacks since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine three years ago. Moscow attacks with hundreds of drones and missiles. What does Vladimir Putin want to achieve with this - and what could stop him?
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia had carried out 741 drone strikes, calling it a "message" by the Kremlin that it was rejecting peace efforts. He pointed out that buyers of Russian oil are directly financing the war and called for additional international sanctions
Several European countries are planning to lay minefields on the border with Russia and Belarus. Their goal is to protect NATO's eastern wing from a possible Russian attack. But it has serious consequences.
The Ukrainian army has been using drone interceptors on the front for a long time. Russia is increasingly attacking Ukrainian cities in the background with Shahid drones. Can interceptor drones be used there instead of missiles?
After the information that Serbian companies supply the Ukrainians with ammunition at the front, the Russian intelligence service now reports that the Ukrainians are very grateful for it
Balancing between East and West gained a new dimension during the unexpected visit of Aleksandar Vučić to Ukraine. The German newspaper FAZ estimates that the President of Serbia managed to rhetorically satisfy all parties — but the question is how much longer this political gymnastics can last without shooting
Serbian President Aleksamdar Vučić promised in Odessa that Serbia will rebuild the Ukrainian cities that were destroyed by the Russian brothers. "To me, it looks like when a poor person goes to a wedding and orders a song with borrowed money, to give music, to show off. This is how Vučić honors the same, and the question is how he will pay it back," economist Miodrag Zec told "Vreme".
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, visited Ukraine for the first time, where he offered help in the reconstruction of cities destroyed by the war at the Ukraine - Southeast Europe summit. The visit comes at a time when Russia accuses Serbia of supplying ammunition to Ukraine
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, at the Ukraine-Southeastern Europe summit in Odessa, emphasized the growing need for intensifying dialogue and quickly achieving peace.

"Currently, Russia is strengthening its forces to an enormous extent, and annually produces about 1500 battle tanks. Not all of these tanks will go to Ukraine," said the Chief of the General Staff of the German Army, Carsten Breuer.
The incomplete list of companies from Serbia accused by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of exporting ammunition to Ukraine includes state giants, but also private companies connected to the ruling Serbian Progressive Party, writes Nova ekonomija
While Serbian politicians, led by the country's president Aleksandar Vučić, try to be, as they claim, neutral in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) announced that Serbian defense companies continue to supply ammunition to Ukraine, despite Belgrade's declared neutrality.
The delegations of Russia and Ukraine met in Istanbul for the first time face to face since March 2022. Although no agreement was reached on a ceasefire, the exchange of 1.000 prisoners on both sides was agreed upon, officials confirmed. Ukraine requested talks between the leaders, and Russia announced its readiness to "consider" them.
Although the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky, are keeping aloof, their negotiators have sat down at the same table to discuss a truce
There will be no direct meeting between Putin and Zelensky this Thursday, but there should still be some kind of negotiations between Kiev and Moscow. Before the meeting in Istanbul, we remind you of the previous attempts to reach peace in Ukraine
A short, sometimes darkly humorous account of historical events and moments when we invariably made mistakes in judgment, chose the wrong side or did things to ourselves, unjustifiably and unprovoked, that brought us here
Under increasing pressure from the West to suspend hostilities, the Kremlin sends Lavrov and Ushakov to negotiate with Ukraine. Istanbul is expected to be the site of key talks on a potential ceasefire

The latest package of sanctions includes lowering the G7 group's price limit for Russian crude oil to $47,6 per barrel.
The price cap, set by the G7 at $60 a barrel in 2022, prohibits shipping and insurance companies from participating in Russian oil exports at higher prices.
