The video, which is supposed to represent the imagined future of the devastated Palestinian territory, has, as one might guess, caused stormy reactions.
Trump has previously spoken of his vision of a "Middle East Riviera" in place of the Gaza Strip, adding that it is only necessary "cleanse" the population of about two million people. This plan was criticized by many as a blueprint for ethnic cleansing.
AI vision of Gaza
The AI-generated footage shows the waterfront transformed into a Dubai-style resort, complete with skyscrapers and luxury yachts. Children play on the beach, money falls from the sky, and bearded belly dancers spin on the sand.

Negative reactions from supporters
After the 78-year-old president shared the video, he faced criticism on his social network.
One Truth Social user wrote: “I couldn't be a bigger supporter of President Trump, but this video is very inappropriate. Very out of place, indeed!” Another wrote: “I hate this. I love our president, but this is terrible," the Guardian reports.
The video may have resonated particularly badly with Trump's Christian supporters, given several comments regarding the idolatry of the golden monument, and others lamenting a scene showing Trump in a nightclub with a woman dressed as a belly dancer.
Accusations of genocide
