A senior official of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and a military adviser to the Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, Mohsan Razneji, warned on Friday evening United States that an Iranian "full-scale offensive" would follow if they continued to attack Iran.
"If the American attacks continue for another two or three days, we will enter the phase of full-scale offensive operations," Razneyi said, state television reported.
His statement came after the US military has been bombing Iran for seven days in a row.
"No political border will be safe once the Iranian offensive begins," Rezaei said, adding that the United States would have to pay reparations for attacks on civilian infrastructure.
The US military renewed attacks on Iran, which retaliated with attacks on US bases in the Persian Gulf states, including Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Tehran says that the attacks on American bases are self-defense, which is allowed by international law.
