Does the public have reason to be concerned and can they believe that they have been adequately and truthfully informed about in the Senjak murder case, if we remember the story of the two-minute video from the Doljevac toll plaza, where she died in 2019 Gligorijevic Station. Slobodan Cvejić, sociologist and vice-president of the party Serbia Center (SRCE), says for "Vreme" that citizens have lost trust in institutions. Cvejić believes that everything related to the murder in restaurant "27" looks like a classic game of blackmail in the clientelistic relations of high politics and organized crime.
"It is no longer known who planted what on whom, who has to get away with the real crime they committed, who keeps some evidence against whom in a 'drawer'," adds Cvejić.
The interlocutor of "Vremena" also points to the case of the arrest of four members of Intervention Unit 92 on suspicion of covering up the shooting in the "Steak and Wine Bar" restaurant, which took place on November 5, 2025. Cvejić believes that this case, for which evidence has suddenly appeared, could serve to divert attention from the prosecution's decision to acquit Milić of the charges.

"This only reinforces the suspicions that this is a staged event and a directed process, whether it is a detailed plan or a subsequent repair of the damage. Bad and worse," Slobodan Cvejić points out.
Can citizens hope to find out the truth about the murder in Senjak
Given that the public has never learned the full truth about numerous affairs - from the demolition in Savamala, through the death of Dalibor Dragijević, to Jovanjica - it is understandable that citizens have doubts about the work of the prosecution and the police.
"Confidence in the police and the judiciary has been further undermined and the feeling is developing that no one is safe in Serbia", believes the vice-president of the "SRCE" party, Slobodan Cvejić.
He adds that it is therefore important to talk about this problem, defend independent journalism and fight for the liberation of judicial bodies and security institutions from political and criminal influence.
He concludes that the list of affairs with tragic outcomes is too long and that citizens can only hope that such cases will be clarified, and that all those responsible will bear the consequences, only after the SNS government is replaced.
