The suspect is charged with aggravated murder and illegal production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials.
There are grounds for doubting that Ž. B. On July 1, around 14:40 p.m., he came to the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) and carried an explosive-based device without authorization, which can cause injuries to people in the vicinity.
The prosecution stated that it was an improvised device in the form of a firecracker, a so-called "cannon shot" with several screws in a glass jar and added that Ž. B. also carried a crossbow with seven arrows, two knives, an awl and nunchucks.
He had a scarf tied over his face, and so-called tactical protective gloves with special reinforcements on his hands, as well as two backpacks on his back and a bag in his hands.
He came to the MUP building, passed through the stop ramp without permission and headed towards the building, where the police officers spotted him and ordered him to stop, but he did not listen to them, but walked away at a faster pace towards Durmitorska Street, where the policemen arrived, identified him and arrested.
The Prosecutor's Office added that during the investigation, additional ballistics expertise, psychiatric expertise of the suspect, questioning of police officers and other evidentiary actions necessary for making a decision will be carried out.
