Serbia is between autocracy and anarchy, and that is a dangerous situation, said the SPS vice-president Branko Ruzic for the Austrian News Agency (APA).
In order to restore citizens' trust in Serbian politics, according to Ružić, the current politicians in power need to be replaced. If people do not feel that the elections bring "real changes", the crisis in Serbia will only prolong, he explained.
Speaking of cooperation Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) of Aleksandar Vučić and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), emphasized that it is not a real coalition because the Socialists always have to agree with a bigger partner.
"And a partner who is denied the right to have an independent view is no longer a partner; he becomes a pawn."
He says that currently his party comrades are in numerous worthless positions because they renounced their political position for their sake.
Asked about the SPS's current rating, somewhere around the census, Ružić says that the Socialists have the potential to reach seven percent on their own.
For that, he says for the APA agency, they must insist on the fight against corruption and clearly distance themselves from the Progressives and their criticism of the student movement.
