Assembly Montenegro adopted the Resolution on Genocide in the Camp System Jasenovac, Dachau and Mathhausen. Every year, the Montenegrin Parliament will send a delegation that will participate in the commemoration programs on April 22 in Jasenovac.
In the Assembly of Montenegro, 42 deputies voted for the resolution, 41 were "for" and one was against. As the proposer, Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandić said that he can proudly say that Montenegro is the first country on the planet that treats Jasenovac in this way.
"This is the result of our idea and our agreement." "No one interfered from the side," said Mandic.
During the voting, MPs from DPS, SD, HGI, Bosniak Party, GP URA left the hall.
By the way, the resolution on the genocide in Jasenovac was, in the meantime, renamed "Resolution on the genocide in the Jasenovac, Dachau and Mauthausen camp system" by amendments of the ZBCG.
