President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić he stated that he was particularly struck by the sight of children tearing up school notebooks with inscriptions "Expo", assessing that such a procedure speaks for the attitude of parents towards the education of children.
Speaking in the village of Karavukovo in the municipality of Odzaci, Vučić said that he understood that the parents had big problems, but that he was saddened by the fact that, in his opinion, "they failed to control their own passions, nor to disappointed they raise to be decent people," FoNet writes.
He assessed that there is no justification for destroying bags, bags, notebooks or pencils just because there is an "Expo" mark on them.
According to him, it is particularly problematic to destroy objects that children can use, which are connected to the project that, as he stated, Serbia fought for and which has nothing to do with political parties.
Vučić added that the citizens should be proud of the organization of the Expo, reminding that Serbia beat the United States of America, Thailand, Argentina and Spain in the selection for the host.
Vučić also said that it would never occur to him to destroy or throw away something brought to him by a political opponent. As an example, he cited Dragan Đilas and Miroslav Aleksić, who, according to him, spoke very badly of him.
Even if they brought him a kilogram of tomatoes on his plate, he judged that it would not make sense to throw them away just to show how he destroys something he got, adding that he would not be able to sleep peacefully because of such an act.
He emphasized that he does not think that people are bad and evil by nature.
"Someone made them like that. Someone, namely those who carried out the colored revolution in this country, paid huge money so that hatred would develop and nothing normal, decent and polite would exist anymore," Vučić pointed out.
