Yugoslav Sports Association Partizan and football club Partizan are celebrating big today jubilee 80th anniversary of its founding.
The football club, which was the initiator of JSD, was founded after the end of the Second World War, on October 4, 1945, as the Physical Education Society of the Central House of the Yugoslav Army. At the same time, sections for basketball, athletics, chess and volleyball were also established.
During the eight decades of existence, the "black and white" achieved numerous notable results, water polo players were European champions seven times, basketball players once, while members of Partizan won numerous medals at the biggest world competitions.
