Mrs. Nataša Tasić Knežević was never a member of the Serbian Progressive Party. In one period, she served as a member of parliament on the list of that party; today he is a city councilor. She did not file a criminal complaint against Bojana Glušica. The report was filed by Srđan Šajin, on behalf of the Roma Party, after information about the insult appeared in the public.
It is incorrect that Bojan Glušica was "detained". He, like Nataša Tasić Knežević, was invited to testify as a citizen. It is a normal procedure, not a custodial measure. Based on the wrong information that he was "detained", the general rehearsal was interrupted, so the director refused to conduct the play without her. That is why the opera "Ero sa onoga sveta" was not performed - not because of the alleged actions of Nataša Tasić Knežević.
We also deny and claim that the start of the SNP season was canceled because that is not true. The season is properly opened:
On September 13, the Gala concert of the SNP Opera,
On September 26, the premiere of the ballet performance "Good Vibrations",
on September 30 with the performance of the opera "La Traviata",
On October 1st, the premiere of the dramatic play "Ms. Nola".
The claim that Nataša Tasić Knežević caused the cancellation of the season of the Serbian National Theater with an "unfounded accusation" is untrue, misleads the public and damages her professional and personal reputation.
In accordance with the Law on Public Information and Media, we publish this denial in its entirety and in the same place where the disputed text was published.
In the end, we add that Vreme will follow the mentioned case and inform readers about all new facts in a timely manner.
