The best Serbian tennis player Novak Đoković will play around 18:00 against Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the second round Wimbledon.
The duel between Djokovic and Tsitsipas will be the third on the Central Court, where the Italian Yannick Siner and the Portuguese Nuno Borges will open the program from 2:30 p.m. in the second round of Wimbledon.
The second match of the day on the Central Court will be the second round duel in the women's competition between the Russian Mira Andreyeva and the Czech Barbora Krejcikova.
Novak and Stefanos have met 14 times so far in their careers and the Serbian representative managed to celebrate on 12 occasions.
Almost seven full seasons have passed since the Greek last celebrated in a mutual duel, and it happened at Maters in Shanghai.
It is interesting that out of all 14 matches, none were even close to such an early stage of the tournament as the second round.
Novak defeated Jibing Wu 3:1, while Tsitsipas defeated Igo Gaston 3:0 in sets.
