The recent publication of the competition on 72nd March Festival it was a sign that the Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival, as it is officially called, will continue where it left off in 2024, when it was last held.
Namely, the March Festival is one of those that were postponed several times during 2025 and were not held until the end of the year.
The board set a deadline.
The competition is open for the selection of films in the domestic and international competitive program, and lasts until February 22.
At the last meeting of the Board of this festival, it was decided that the 72nd March Festival will be held from April 21 to 25, 2026 in the Youth Center of Belgrade, which also indicates that, unlike last year, this year will not be skipped.
The board now works in a changed composition: to the current members Nikola Rajičić (chairman of the board, undersecretary of the City Secretariat for Sports and Youth), Boris Jovanović and Milena Nikolić, Jakov Petrović, acting director of the Film Center of Serbia, and Vuk Savić were added.
