Zajecar's guitarriad it is scheduled for the last weekend of this month, on the 28th and 29th, while the final will be held on Saturday, August 30, in Kraljevica.
However, the announced "strong" program of the 58th Gitariade is falling apart day by day, so instead of three days, only one is filled.
Goblins, SARS
Goblins were the first to leave this year's Guitar Festival, at the behest of the organizers. "We think you know why" they wrote on social networks, associating it with the decision of Zrenjanin made just before that, who was not "interested in performers who have political connotations at the moment", so he canceled their participation in "Beer Days".
The organizers neither confirmed nor denied this news, nor did they react to the cancellation of the participants that followed.
Namely, the Belgrade band SARS decided not to perform at Gitariada, because the concert of the Goblini group was cancelled, saying "stop mixing politics into culture". The Whitesnake Experience gave the same reason.

And at the first press conference, on June 1, where the program of this year's edition of Gitariada was presented, the exclusive performance of the band Whitesnake Experience By The Members Of Whitesnake was announced - a project specially created for Gitariada in Zaječar. It was supposed to be the only concert in the world made up of members of the legendary band Whitesnake - drummer Tommy Aldrich, guitarist Joel Hoekstra, bassist Marko Mendoza, keyboardist Mikele Lupi and increasingly popular Croatian singer Dino Jelusić.
Then the participation was canceled by Deca lisih muzikan and group NIT. "Even though we were published as a revue band, that's not true. The lineup was made and published without any communication with us," NIT explained why they won't be in Zaječar, even though they were the winners of this review last year.
Electric Orgasm also decided not to perform this year, as did the group Kerber.

The last notice to the organizers came from Zagreb's Brkov.
On the first night of Gitarijade, the bands Nit, Ecektricni Orgasm, Deca badi lih musikan and Zagreb's Brkovi were supposed to perform. Since all of them canceled their concerts, the first evening was left without a program.
For the time being, only Atomic Shelter and demo bands will perform on the other festival nights, and the group Kerber was also supposed to perform.
The third night is still full, all the announced performers are still there: Riblja chorba, Generacija 5, Alen Islamović and demo bands.
