Goran Kosanović in the Ethnographic Museum

In the new cycle of Goran Kosanović's drawings, which will be exhibited in the Ethnographic Museum from September 8 to 15, a new view of the world around us opened up through the display of the artist's "toys". iPad-a, which thereby gained the status of a legitimate means of his creative expression. This, the fifteenth solo exhibition by Kosanović, is called "I Pad" because of the medium in which it was created. The "Paper" application was made for Kosanović's sensibility: the tool becomes an artist's finger that "paints" on an interactive screen. The imperfection of the stroke, characteristic of work in this medium, is an advantage that highlights the idea and themes the artist deals with. The resulting works are divided and exhibited as cycles: "Sport", a cycle dedicated to Tarkovsky, then "Traffic", "Flags", MTV and "Ferrari drivers": they reveal that for Kosanović the whole world is a potential inspiration and an invitation to an exciting artistic journey .
