The "Pavle Vuisić" Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded by the Association of Film Actors of Serbia (UFGS) for outstanding contribution to the art of acting. So far, 59 actors and actresses have received this award. Jubilee, sixtieth, was awarded Tanja Boskovic, one of the most important actresses of domestic cinematography.
The Ministry rejected the actors.
A few days after it was announced that "Pavle Vuisić" will be awarded to Tanja Bošković, they were announced results of the Ministry of Culture Competition for film industry. Among those rejected is the Association of Film Actors of Serbia. Namely, the Ministry of Culture refused to finance the "Pavle Vusić" award.
We will repeat, "Pavle Vuisić" is a lifetime achievement award, for an exceptional contribution to the art of film acting.

The Association of Film Actors of Serbia previously announced that the award will be presented to Tanja Bošković at the Film Festival in Niš, which will be held from August 29 to September 3.
New acting festival
It will be new film festival, as a sort of successor to the Film Encounters in Nis, which lasted until 2024 and there were 59 of them.
Last year was the UFGS Assembly unanimously decided not to organize the 60th Film Meetings, due to the socio-political situation. They made a "difficult decision as a reflection of the current political and social situation in the country".
This year, UFGS organizes the new festival independently, without the City of Nis. They state that this event will "once again confirm the status of the Festival in Niš as a unique event that has been celebrating domestic film and acting for six decades."
They announced that the audience can expect a large number of films in the main competition program, with world and domestic premieres, a program out of competition, as well as other accompanying contents that include panels, exhibitions and masterclasses.
They haven't announced the program yet, nor the venue. As far as is known, the City of Niš is doing everything to prevent them from realizing their idea.
