This year Mikser festival moved from Belgrade to New Pazar.
"This city has a treasure of heritage, young people and great energy and creativity, we recognized that and decided to move the festival to Novi Pazar this year," said Milan Lalić, executive director, announcing the jubilee 15th Mikser festival.
The program includes many cult bands of the regional rock scene and theater performances.
The festival begins on June 4 with a theater performance Fun Facts, June 6th is 22 minutes, and on the last day of Mixer, on June 7, there are performances Seeking Home - Seeking Home, I'm asking for a pardon which will be discussed later.
Music program
At the opening of the musical program on June 5, Vroom, Jarboli and Partibrejkersi will perform, followed by Helem Neise, Gospodo Bate, Marcelo and Leta Stuke the next day, and the closing evening on June 7, according to the organizer, will bring a wide range of musical expressions - from Mark Lewis, through the performance of Nikola Cuturil, to the emotional concert of Amira Medunjanin.
In short, during the three ladies of the Jubilee Mixer, there will be everything from iconic rock bands to original pop, hip-hop, and up to contemporary interpretations of sevdah.
Under the slogan "New World", Mikser Festival will bring together diverse musical voices - performers of different generations and sensibilities - turning Novi Pazar into a regional center of contemporary sound and a unique festival experience, confirming the festival's idea of connecting different voices of the region into a unique "New World" sound.
Theater performances
The two theater performances on the last day of the Mikser Festival are author's projects that open up issues of identity, community, youth and contemporary society in different ways.
A performance Seeking Home - Seeking Home, was inspired by the doctoral work of Jelena Vladušić. The performance uses photographs as a window into the stories of people who passed through the Balkans in search of a new life, opening up universal questions of belonging, home and identity. In those pictures, we see not only migrants, but traces of longing, strength and questions that we all carry: Where do we belong? What is home?

Through a minimalistic and sustainable stage approach, two actresses - Andrijana Dragnić and Jana Dekanski - interpret several characters, while the dramatization, direction and stage design are signed by Anđelka Nikolić.
I'm asking for a pardon is an author's project of the students and professors of the Novi Pazar Grammar School, created on the occasion of the manifestation "May, the month of mathematics", and because of the great love for mathematics, the truth is, from a completely different angle - through the dramatization of the characters of ancient mathematical minds, mathematics here takes on the face of emotion, beauty and deep curiosity.

Through the combination of science, theater and music, topics that strongly shape our modernity are revealed - from femicide and attitudes towards violence, to technology as a double-edged sword. A special dimension is given to the play by the musical bravado of the students, which organically fit into the story and further enhance its emotional and artistic power.
The script, direction and implementation are signed by the married couple Bogućanin, Hajrija and Irfan, with the support of young high school student Omer Nicević, as well as other young actors - students of high school in Novi Pazar.
