Feature films from Serbia “Trip” i "Karmadon", and the documentary "Behind the Smile", won four awards last week at two festivals in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the 8th International Adventure Film Festival Avant & Una in Bihać, the feature film "Excursion", directed by Nenad Pavlović, was declared the best feature film.
In the explanation of the jury, it is stated that the film was singled out because of "the strong visualization of the story of a young man who, after the loss of his family, is looking for an existential way out and freedom", as well as because of the message that "freedom without others is not complete".
At the same festival, the documentary film "Behind the Smile: Through the Camera of Vlado Divljan", directed by Marko Đorđević, won the award for the best short documentary film.
The jury described the film as "an intimate artistic achievement that goes beyond the classic biographical film", emphasizing that it builds an artistic portrait of Vlada Divljan through the family archive and provides a new dimension of understanding his creativity, while the animated sequences additionally revive his recognizable boyish spirit".
Trebinje
In Trebinje, the film "Karmadon", directed by Aleksandar Radivojević, won the Grand Prix of the festival, while Jelena Đokić was awarded the award for the best female role for her striking interpretation of the main character. In both cases, the jury was actually the audience, which voted for the best in these categories.
"Izlet" won its first prize, "Behind the Smile" its third, and "Karmadon" its thirteenth prize at domestic, regional and international festivals.
