At yesterday's (April 27) session of the Belgrade City Assembly, except Ivana Nedeljković Director of "Puls Tetra" from Lazarevac, Miloš Latinović, director of Bitef Theater, was also replaced.
In his place, as acting director, director Filip Gajić was appointed, and as we already wrote, instead Ivana Nedeljkovic Art teacher Mirko Kovačević was appointed as an acting teacher.
Decisions on the replacement of the managers of two Belgrade theaters and the appointment of new ones were voted by the councilors of the City Assembly according to an urgent procedure, those items were not on the agenda of the session.
Why did Ivana Nedeljković become ineligible?
It is not understood.
Nikola Nikodijević, the President of the City Assembly, read them at a fast speed, extremely incomprehensible, without mentioning a single name. It is only known that these are directors and acting directors, school boards and other institutions founded by the City of Belgrade, the Board of the Bitef Theater is also listed, but all through mumbling and, we repeat, without naming names. The MPs, however, voted for all of that, because they probably knew what it was about, assuming that they had previously received written material about that item, which was adopted under an urgent procedure.
Miloš Latinović is out of the country and he, as well as Ivana Nedeljković, do not want to comment on the fact that they are no longer directors until they receive a decision on that decision.
In addition to being the director of the Bitef Theater, Miloš Latinović was also removed from the position of a member of the Bitef Festival Board. As we heard, that function was automatically taken away from him. Also according to the same automaticity, Filip Gajić will replace him in the Bitef Festival Board.
Jelena Medaković, the Secretary for Culture of the City, says that she will talk about these changes when the official solutions to those decisions are published.
