Recent public opinion polls, which he did not commission Social Media, confirm what can be seen with the naked eye: the regime parties lag behind "Student list".
Despite the commendable effort of Aleksandar Vučić, who in 40 degrees goes around the progressive tents in the villages of Serbia and Republika Srpska where local sympathizers are entertained with brandy, pork, music and state officials, he cannot turn the numbers in his favor.
His marketing teams noticed that people began to be seriously irritated by the arrogance of users of the regime's services - so he reduced the arrogance for his own ideas and as a way of re-educating the party people; the voters are poor despite the fairy tales of the golden age - handouts and caps are handed out; the pedestrian campaign (still) of the President of the Republic, who is running for Prime Minister, is visited by a small number of people - it doesn't matter, the regime's media have been put into turbo-drive and follow all this devoutly and broadcast it on national frequencies...
The system of government was coming out.
And it's not worth it. There is no way that Vučić could come up with the numbers that would guarantee him that he could declare victory immediately after the polls closed, regardless of who actually won.
The system simply wore out, the control of one man began to loosen, the news about mafia-police confrontations amuse the people, until they burst under their window...
Despite the complete dominance of the media market, the same lies cannot be repeated indefinitely, sometimes voters start to believe what they see and not what they are served.
What "Student List" should do
About a year and a half ago, the students woke up the dull society and now "Student List" is marching towards victory.
Those who lead it just have to make sure that the BIA does not succeed in sowing discord among them, that the student list for the extraordinary parliamentary elections does not include complete idiots and that they find a way to cooperate with the opposition political parties that they really are.
And that when, one day, elections are announced, tens of thousands of students, as tireless and smiling as they are, will run all over Serbia to spread the good word, in a pedestrian campaign the likes of which this country has never seen.
It goes without saying that election technicalities, which include, say, a sufficient number of trained controllers, must be completed on time.
What should the opposition do?
For the opposition parties, which in 14 years of the progressive authorities managed to gamble away almost all the trust of the citizens, only one thing is valid: either to complete consolidation and make sure that no one who comes to the elections remains below the threshold, or not to interfere and provide full support to the "Student List".
And that they don't fight in public as if they were in a bar.
The parties gathered around Vučić have exhausted their reservoir of voters a long time ago, they are unable to win new ones.
Those who are against the regime have a great chance to move all the hitherto disinterested or undecided or unfaithful and disillusioned people to the ballot boxes to give hope for the future.
If the participants in the elections who want to dismantle this anti-civilization regime do not, before they take place, do what must be done, let them not speak out afterwards about the controlled media, the abuse of state resources, police torture and repression, about the unfair election conditions, about each other - because all this is known and will not change, and yet the path to victory is marked with fluorescent paint.
And after the election there are no regrets.
