The heroes of the story about the liberation of Serbia from the barbarians have been students for a year now. They saw through the Serbian lord of the flies, they stood in the way of the former city destroyers on the way to destroying civilizational values
"The primitive man has a hard time accepting that anything could have been 'before him'; his etiology is simple, exclusive and one and only, especially when it is well systematically processed by oral tavern didascalia", wrote the architect Bogdan Bogdanović in the text Ritual killing of cities (The Second Serbia - 10 years after: 1992-2002).
He predicted that it would barbarians who destroyed "non-Serb" cities, phantoms that "emerged from the depths of the disturbed national soul", return to Serbia to occupy Serbian cities and impose themselves on them as masters, giving children to flip through their "morbid picture books" instead of the "idyllic albums" of the city's memory.
More than two decades later, wartime "city destroyers" fulfill Bogdanović's prophecy: the modern history of Serbia for the former general secretary of the Serbian Radical Party Aleksandar Vučić it starts with him. There are no real estate agents or statesmen like him, he is the embodiment of Rastko Nemanjić, he himself, like St. George, kills the dragon that Serb-haters pounce on Serbian life, he is a fighter against the yellow thief, and for honesty and spirituality, Serbia has not seen since St. Sava until him. He is the master of truth. There was nothing before him.
Anyone who disputes this is an enemy of the people.
It's no wonder that now the legions of the self-indulgent ruler have turned to universities and culture, institutions that rest on critical thought and memory, which reduce his imagined greatness to the right measure, see through his malicious sermons. Media which act the fastest and affect the largest part of the population, have already conquered, turned into a machine for sowing lies, hatred and rewriting history.
It was shown, therefore, that the spark that smouldered in higher education and theaters succeeded in igniting resistance in society. The students broke down and stood in the way of the anti-civilizational attitudes that had invaded Serbia. Students they are not any second or third Serbia, they are Serbia, the way it should be. The alternative is its disappearance from the spiritual map of the modern world, which began with the coming to power of Slobodan Milosevic in 1987.
These ghosts that were awakened in the Yugoslav crematoriums declared war on the future of this country, on the most educated and urban part of the population that should be buried.
"It seems that in the panicked souls of the city destroyers, I feel an evil aversion to everything that is urban, that is, to the complex semantic series of spirit, morality, speech, taste, style... I will remind you that the word urbanity, starting from the fourteenth century until today, in the most important ones European languages always mean the same thing: smoothness, articulateness, harmony of thoughts and words, words and feelings, feelings and movements... etc., so when someone doesn't know how to submit to the laws of urbanity, it's easiest for him to simply ignore urbanity", wrote Bogdan Bogdanović.
This "slaughter" can be seen most clearly in Belgrade, which the city-haters distort to their own taste and for their own purposes, destroying everything that once was, creating their own symbols, raising their own totems.
A tent settlement in the middle of the city, which was baptized in "Cacileland" is the Serbian Lord of the Flies, as well as a fortification for the defense of the Serbian Jack. "Ćaciland" serves to intimidate and humiliate the citizens of Belgrade, it is a landscape that fills the ruler from Andrić's crown with voluptuousness.
The antipode "Ćacilendu" is a rally in Novi Sad on November 1, exactly one year after the system took its toll in blood at the railway station.
