On Thursday, April 16, around four-thirty in the morning, Milomir Jaćimović's bus was on fire. The whole of Serbia knows about him. That's the one man whom the government arrested, confiscated his buses, punished him draconianly, forced him to go on a hunger strike... And that only because he was transporting for free student and participated in their protests.
Who can be seen in the flames of his burning bus?
Intentional lies and deceptions
The first is - most likely - a certain loyalist and thug from criminal circles. It is entirely possible that he hired someone to set the trucker's vehicle on fire. Today, this is what progressive "political struggle" looks like on the ground.
The reflections of the fire also play on the faces of the head of the UKP Marko Kričko, the director of the police Dragan Vasiljević, the minister of the interior Ivica Dačić, the director of the BIA Vladimir Orlić and others from the security structures. Visibly or from the shadows, all of them bullied and harassed Jaćimović together with his minor son, treating them almost like armed and dangerous terrorists.
It is possible that the counted dead people will say that they have nothing to do with that mistreatment - it is about laws, routine controls, traffic regulations... So "loyal" to the rule of law, they never disclosed who "planted the bombs" because of which the authorities regularly stopped train traffic before every large student protest or chased the infernal drivers from the regime's echelons.
Conceived lie and deception became the only proper name for most of their official announcements.
For the most part, the regime has been trying to portray Jaćimović as the number one enemy of the state for a long time. And why wouldn't some ambitious loyalist organize the burning of the bus? Because of this, he will not receive the Vidovdan medal, but he will be noticed and appreciated by the one who should.
The mafia nature of government
Yellow fire accompanied by black smoke illuminated the entire regime in Serbia. These are all those explosions of spoon-makers and arson in cafes, squads of thugs and blackmailers in local elections, suppression of the judiciary, education and media, systemic corruption and crime... In short, the mafia nature of the government in Serbia was outlined on the flames of the bus.
But why Jaćimović? There are two reasons. His chicanery and burning of the bus is a clear message to other truckers what awaits them if they transport rebellious students and citizens, especially now that the date of the parliamentary elections is being bid for.
Another reason is Jaćimović himself. Maybe he once trusted Vučić and SNS. It is also possible that - like so many others - the students opened his eyes. But the most important thing is that as a persistent and indomitable man of the people, he deeply shook the progressive electorate, influenced so many people like him. That is why regime retaliation followed.
