Aleksandar Vučić carried out one of the strangest coups in the history of coups. He stopped performing the duty of the president of all citizens (admittedly, he never performed it), abolished the constitution, laws, and thus the state, made thugs and criminals untouchable (see under "pardon"), awarded them police escort (just in case), declared all the citizens of this country his enemies and surrounded himself with cannibalistic propaganda magazines and his lovely family.
The man really messed up the pots.
Good old dictatorships
In the good old dictatorships (Hitler, Mussolini), the thugs acted as a lever for winning power, and when the power was won, the more ambitious dictators immediately eliminated them (Hitler took down Remo in an instant), while he turned the obedient and smarter ones, through the process of transubstantiation, into respectable members of the regime.
In other words, dictatorships consolidated power by creating some kind of order: they strengthened the police and the army (for their own benefit, of course), clearly marked the enemies (Jews, infidels), and paramilitary structures took on a special role: Hitler's SS was a state within a state, like the religious militia in Iran today, or the secular BAAS, the party militia in Saddam Hussein's Iraq.
This one of ours, however, does everything wrong. After coming to power in free and fair elections, he immediately organized hordes of thugs, weakened the police and the army, and found enemies in his own citizens. Now it has turned into a grotesque in which the thugs try, through the process of branding, to turn them into citizens, and the citizens to turn thugs. Instead of creating some sort of order, he indulges in chaos, believing that when the stars collapse, he will re-establish the cosmos from that chaos.
The only thing that won't. Because it doesn't work that way.
Causing chaos
And it doesn't work because the structure on which it rests is chaos - and structure and chaos are contradictions; Vučić believes that he rules the situation, but he does not rule - he cannot withstand chaotic movement, just as the pillars at the "Prokop" Railway Station cannot withstand: namely, they were not designed to hold the excesses who tried out of incompetence, ignorance, arrogance, malice, complexes, frenzy... therefore, chaos.
Additionally, chaos tends to turn everything it draws into chaos. This is why, after all, democracy is the least bad of all regimes: democracy contains within itself the germ of chaos that it does not suffocate, but rather curbs.
What does this mean, specifically?
First of all, that his party structure is obviously collapsing. That Novi Sad cheerleader, the mayor, found it appropriate to run to Thassos and frolic in the Aegean Sea while Novi Sad is burning both metaphorically and in reality. Would a conscious human being, a politician at that, do such a thing? Difficult.
But with Vučić, the unthinkable becomes thinkable, the only thing is that now the unthinkable-thinkable is turning against him. Even his personal shelter at the Railway Station in Novi Sad decided to turn on him and kill sixteen people.
There is nothing behind violence.
The president of all the batterers of Serbia (PSBS) does not know that there is nothing behind such structured, private violence. Apart from his descent into the rut of (bad) history. He wants to become a private master of violence against citizens.
The good old dictatorships, however, used the state framework and state resources for violence against citizens. This is what the PSBS has done so far, but the problem is that it also abolished the state, so now it is leaking everywhere.
The police, for now, are working hard and together with the thugs, but who would dare to bet that it will last, that those policemen who in Vrbas and Bačka Palanka - and mostly elsewhere - were beaten by the Essen thugs, will continue to suffer endless humiliation and do the opposite of what they chose to do: to protect citizens (because they are citizens, not thugs, even though they have official thugs in their hands) and fight against crime (and not the other way around, which they are currently doing)?
Oh yes, those psychopaths in Valjevo beat children and citizens. Oh yes, they allowed the thugs to live on the citizens and break their bones. Oh yes, they left the citizens to the beatings in Belgrade the night before. And that is creating chaos.
But does anyone believe that it can? Apart from PSBS (and that grandmother who verbally assaulted Filip Švarm while he was giving a statement to TV N1), probably no one else.
