The ceremonial "opening" of the new main bus stations in Belgrade was another mayoral fiasco Aleksandar Šapić and a sign that his namesake Vučić "let him down the drain", and that Goran Vesić won the conflict between two former officials of the Democratic Party ("yellow scum-elite", a coin coined for the opposition by Vučić's favorite editor-in-chief Dragan Vučićević) , the current Minister of Transport, and since 2013 the "alpha and omega" in the city government.
Namely, Šapic's opening was boycotted by everyone from the republican government. There was no state secretary or assistant minister from any ministry, Vesić's, even though it is departmental, especially. Šapić hoped that, as announced, the Prime Minister and the President of his party, Miloš Vučević, would come, but on Thursday evening the media received a notification from the Prime Minister's office that the attendance at the event was cancelled.

Šapić's "audience" on Friday morning, in addition to journalists, several BAS employees, a couple of city officials and a dozen different "protocols", "PR" and other people from his cabinet and his associates. All important, pensive, with some folders in their hands, as if the fate of the city depends on them. Šapić arrives at the stage, accompanied by the clapping of a lady who, who knows how, found herself there, and an elderly man from the "Securitas" security guard. The two of them slapped one palm on the other, saw that no one else accepted those "salves" of delight, and gave up.
Šapić began his speech, at the beginning he said that the station "is a space that can be a source of pride for everyone and that will be not only the traffic gate of Belgrade, but also of the whole of Serbia". How big will the gate be - says the boycott of state bodies. Vesić is one of those who does not forgive.
Then Šapić, like Vučić, began a polemic with imaginary opponents in the media, claiming that he knew what they were going to ask him, that they were bothered by every success and progress, and so on. He specified that he would be maliciously asked why the main building of the bus station was not completed, which would be a logical question, so he tried to warn that a tender would be announced, so that "a large station building, with a square, there will be two connected buildings", completed in 2027.
After his usual lengthy presentation about the plans and projects that will be carried out, so that "Belgrade in two or three years will not even look like what it is today", the answers to the questions begin, he does well and when they are unpleasant, he speaks in general, bureaucratic, and finally, "cold shower".

The journalist asks if the station has received a license, Šapić turns to BAS director Boban Kovačević and receives an affirmative answer. The "impudent" journalist then notes how that permit could have been issued, when there are no trash cans on the 65 platforms and in the surrounding area. He looks around, and makes sure it's true, then begins to answer how it will be resolved by Sunday. Garbage cans, especially those that are according to European regulations, and must have separate parts for plastic/metal packaging, paper, conventional waste, and Šapić introduced such at all major public transport stops in Belgrade, are not flower bins that are simply they bring it somewhere and set it up. These should be attached to the asphalt. And to do that, the question is where to get at least 100 such buckets in one day and put them into operation. Simply impossible.
And Šapić himself blamed Kovačević for why it was not done, saying: There are 100 people here now and they have nowhere to throw their garbage. How was Kovačević afterwards, it is not difficult to guess what volleys he "fired" at him.
If things such as trash cans were not taken into account, and they were provided for in the project, it is to be assumed how much more trouble, invisible to the naked eye, was in the speedy completion of the new bus station, the construction of which exceeded all the scheduled deadlines. But, Belgrade on the water is being built, the station and the old bridge have to be moved, so that the project does not stop. And who cares about the lack of some trash cans, especially the Ministry of Ecology and its inspections. It is important that the usage permit is signed, and that the prices in the restaurant are above average.

In the restaurant that will operate within the station, passengers will pay 250 to 350 dinars for sour water, 320 to 400 dinars for beer, and 300 to 450 dinars for juices.
There will also be some dishes on offer, so passengers will be able to buy beer and pizza for 720 dinars, while espresso coffee, donuts and water will cost 420 dinars.

Aleksandar Vučić now has only the old, proven methods of classic dictatorships left, because these modern methods of insanity and poisoning the public are failing. And that, however, goes against his head
Vučić is not defending the state, but himself from the state. With a drum on his back and a guitar in his hands, this man-orchestra performs two or three of the same songs without hearing, with falsifications and falling out of rhythm. His government and politics are like that. In short - dangerous for the environment
Arrests of professors, punishment of people, firing of journalists... The regime of Aleksandar Vučić is shining and is yet to shine. It is the decadent phase of the regime, the one towards the end
The example of the elections in Zaječar and Kosjerić shows that the truth is not given, but assumed. Truth is a task that a citizen fulfills. She always wins
It turns out that the opposition did not win in either of these two places. But before we fall into the abyss of defeatism, it should be noted that everything has gone as well as it can at this point. And that from now on, it can only get better
