The government of Đur Mazut is "counter-revolutionary", focused on retaliation and state and street violence against opponents of the regime
Almost three months since Miloš Vučević resigned as the first man of the Government of Serbia, and at the end of the legal deadline, the people's deputies received a list of representatives of the new republic's executive power, which will be led by reproductive endocrinologist Đuro Macut. Matsuta was recommended for the position of formally the most powerful man in the country by previous important political and social affairs: visits to Ćaciland and the responsible position of treasurer in one of several European associations of endocrinologists. In addition, his signatures were found on all lists of support and messages of love to Aleksandar Vučić. Matsuto's job will be - it's clear to everyone - to answer the phone when the head boss calls him and to write it down so he doesn't forget his instructions.
What does the composition of the new government tell us? It is a segment of the "counter-revolutionary" activities of the Serbian Progressive Party and its partners. "Counter-revolution" implies retaliation and state and street violence against opponents of the regime, which is no longer just hidden, but retaliation and violence is called for from all levels of government, starting from the "incompetent institution", through its tabloids, and up to ministers and party officials.
Change to the same
But not only that. "Counter-revolution" is also sadistic "killing in the concept": a message is sent - you can protest as much as you want and for as long as you want, but there won't be any changes, but things will only get worse because - I wonder, what happened, do you have a problem!?
The new composition of the government shows Vučić's willingness to make concessions. Zero, or minus something.
It is about changing to the same. Even worse, although it was really difficult to achieve. The main portfolios were retained by people previously known to the internal organs and citizens, old experts. Mali will swindle with big money, Orlić with little, Gašić will polish tanks if students need to be trampled on, Dacić will play the police minister, because it's better for him than someone pulling it out of a drawer and giving his file to the tabloids...
Of the important departments, the change in the position of the Minister of Justice is interesting. A very cooperative man from the Judicial Academy Nenad Vujić, a member of the Vučić Movement for this and that of Dejan Đurđević, came to that place. Vujić allegedly had a very important "advisory" role in the selection of loyal judges. Rumor has it that his role will be to keep Zaga Dolovac under control, if she shows signs of life when her "underlings" start arresting grandmothers and children who don't like Vučić.
Goran Vesić will be replaced as Minister of Construction by his right hand Aleksandra Sofronijević, until recently the State Secretary, who was bypassed by the "Canopy" case.
It was in vain for Tomislav Žigmanov, a representative of Vojvodina's Croats and a former employee of the Šoroš Foundation, to wrap himself in the Serbian flag and express his love for the great leader - his contract as Minister for Minorities and Human Rights was not extended. The "movement" Demo Berisha, a former officer of the Serbian Army, and the successor of Rahman Morina, the "Albanian patriot", landed in his position. He stated, for example, that Radoicic's "uprising" in Banjska was a struggle for the survival of Serbs in Kosovo. He (that's the name of the department) will not only improve human and minority rights, but also ensure social dialogue.
(Non)European path
The new Minister of Information and Telecommunications, a professional Kosovar, Boris Bratina, is an enviable "finger in the eye" of citizens and the European Union. He was a member of the administration of the extremist movement "SNP 1389". He burned the EU flag at public meetings. His statement is: "Either you are Serbs and against joining the European Union or you are against Serbia!"
It will be interesting how this person will harmonize Serbian and European media laws, and participate with EU representatives in countless round tables discussing eschatological media and telecommunication topics. At least the previous Ristić had a well-groomed beard and looked like an intellectual.
What about Vulin?
It is difficult to say what it means that there is no Aleksandar Vulin in the Government. Vučić will not easily give up the services of this "Stalinist", who is ready for anything. Maybe he will be in charge of coordinating the camp for political dissidents, let's make a bitter joke and at the same time knock on wood - so that he doesn't hear evil.
Miloš Vucevic is nowhere to be found. He "smoked" both in Belgrade and in Novi Sad. He can only go with Vučić, while the latter talks to the children or plays chess with them - and smiles stupidly. Even his party will be taken away from him, now that the Movement has come to life. A tragic figure, if only a few months later his thugs beat the students with bats, he would not only not have to resign but would also be praised.
