There is every chance that someone tried to kill Niš opposition champion doctor Dragan Milić. The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Nis used, after the first stage of the investigation, the following wording: "The bedroom window was damaged in the form of a hole, which is likely to have been caused by the impact of a projectile." Doctor Milić himself stated that, before calling the police, he consulted with experienced forensic experts and experts, and that they also used the wording presented by the prosecution. Dr. Milić himself does not hesitate to say that he was shot with the intention of killing him.
The idea of this text, however, is not to determine what happened. In the end, it turns out that the hole in the window was made by a woodpecker. The only thing that is relevant at this moment is the serious suspicion that someone shot at the opposition champion. It is also relevant that the first man of this country, and also Milić's political opponent, just a few hours before the woodpecker pecked at Dr. Milić's window, declared that this doctor is pure evil.
Let us remind you: not so long ago, "pure evil" liquidated the waiting lists for heart surgery at the Clinical Center in Niš, not so long ago, without the help of the state, which is why, logically, it was targeted by a suspicious group of people led by its political opponent, so that the epicenter of evil would become a doctor, since he narrowly took down the progressive government in Niš in the most unequal and unfair elections in the history of elections (organized by his political opponent), and, God forbid, even won one municipality. Evil, but what.
Finally, it is not out of place to recall the murder of Oliver Ivanovic in Kosovska Mitrovica. That man was simply a threat to Vučić's government in Kosovska Mitrovica, and Vučić's propaganda tools declared him an unprecedented evil and stuck a target on his forehead. And then someone pulled the trigger. More than once. In the back, just in case. It remains to be seen if it was well planned, or if someone just got inspired after all that was served at Pink and elsewhere.
So much for history and lessons.
Silence from Andrić's venac
If there was even a grain of normality in the team that rode this country, the first person to speak out would be the president of the state who would, quite clearly and without any ambiguity, in a direct broadcast on all media, declare that even the thought that someone could shoot Dr. Milić is a matter for the most severe condemnation, that he is happy that Dr. Milić is unharmed, that he wishes him the best in life, and that the state will do everything to solve the case and the perpetrator. deprived of freedom.
Let's say that it is established that the hole was made by a child with a slingshot. Let the president not believe a single word of the text he spoke. The President's first and only duty at the time of the breaking of the news was to state what, as president, had to declare.
At the time, however, when this text was written, more than 24 hours had passed since the news was published, and the president did not even bother. Did anyone expect anything but silence? It actually is. The President's suggestion to the police and the prosecutor's office that Dr. Milić be deprived of his liberty and brought to justice for "creepy lies".
Terrified Serbian pantoctator
Let's remember how US President Joe Biden, US Vice President Kamala Harris, a direct political opponent of Donald Trump, and all the media, regardless of whether or not they are in favor of Trump, reacted after the failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump during the presidential campaign: the condemnation of the assassination was immediate, unequivocal, and clear. It doesn't really matter who it is thought at that moment, only what is at that moment counts said.
Let's remember how the President of Serbia, Boris Tadić, went straight to the feet of his political opponent, Tomislav Nikolić, when the latter declared that as a sign of protest (admittedly, no one can remember what Nikolić was protesting against, but that is not important in this context) he would stop taking food and water.
In both examples, we are talking about the reactions of normal politicians who work for the benefit of the community they represent and which, in fair elections, gave them the mandate to govern the country on its behalf. Although it would be interesting, this text cannot delve into the fact that both Nikolić and Trump, despite the civilized gestures of their political opponents, messed up their countries, overthrew republics and fearlessly led their citizens into the abyss.
It hardly needs to be said that a civilized gesture could not even be expected from the frightened, frenzied, disoriented pantoctator. Civilization has not even touched him.
