What was wanted to be achieved by publishing telephone numbers journalists RTS? Also a wanted poster with all the photos with the words "Wanted" editor Public service: Nenada Lj. Stefanović, Sandra Perović, Miloš Janković, Bojana Mlađenović, Mirjana Brajković and Milica Nedić?
This is nothing but targeting people according to a radical model - original and disguised. In the same way, the regime persecutes journalists, but also opposition politicians, professors and many others, putting their personal safety in question. Precisely for this reason and for no other reason, the police are questioning the dean of Belgrade University, Vladan Đokić, on Good Friday.
Whoever condemns such attacks by the regime must not tolerate those directed against RTS editors and journalists either. Of course, there is power and money on the side of the government - progressive bounty hunters are richly rewarded for their dirty work. But Serbia will not be better off if "our" Đuka and "our" DJ Vučićević replace theirs. Simply, this is called kurta-murtism. And what kind of change is that in a country where public life is toxic to the point of suffocation?
After all, do the majority of citizens stand at blockades, walk, gather at protests, ride bicycles to Strasbourg and support students whose non-violence, solidarity and inclusiveness have made Serbia so indebted that one harangue and hate speech would replace another? The one who thinks like this is in the wrong place - the student rebellion is the opposite of that.
Lynchers of RTS journalists and editors treat those from independent and professional media equally. For various motives and interests - and often just out of personal spite - they are showered with barrages of insults on social networks. Whoever does not believe, let him ask.
Finally, what is the goal of the current chase? If it is about contributing to student protests and blockades - nothing is more counterproductive and, in that sense, more pagan. Who benefits? Exactly the regime they are supposedly fighting against.
I used to share close beliefs with RTS leaders and some journalists. Although it is no longer like that, we have preserved personal relationships and full respect for the other's integrity. I also believe that even today we could agree on some things.
