They beat, blackmailed, intimidated, broke, embezzled, bribed, stole, organized bribery, lied, poisoned, polluted. They built the whole of Chaciland. - active and reserve batin squad - plus auxiliary police troops to guard these batin's. They broke every legal and democratic rule that got in their way in a gruesome barbaric raid on three small communities.
And how did they fare in the local elections in Mionica, Negotin and Sečnje?
For anyone with elementary honesty and personal integrity - no way. Progressive Pyrrhic victories they prove for the umpteenth time that the Vučić regime is also turning the constitutional and legal order of the Republic of Serbia into a hotbed. With that, the head of state and the entire Ćaciland became an elementary disaster that affects all citizens, including a large number of progressives. It's simple - the country has been handed over to gangs, no one is safe anymore.
More than heroism
Students, rebellious society and political activists in Mionica, Negotin and Sečnje had no chance. As in other separate local elections, they were subjected to a punitive expedition of the entire Serbian Progressive Party.
Support for their lists through observers and in other ways from various parts of Serbia was extremely important. She showed true solidarity and unity in the fight for a common goal. Without it, the progressive violence and anti-civilizational destruction of the state would never have been exposed to such an extent and in such a blatant way.
However, the real heroes are activists, councilor candidates and other participants in these local elections. Despite heavy harassment and in impossible conditions, they managed to seriously crown the progressive government, especially in Mionica. This will get its real verification already in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Day after
The declaration of citizens at the local level cannot show the political mood at the state level. No matter how centralized Serbia is, opportunities and relationships within it are quite different. However, what do the local elections in Mionica, Negotin and Sečnje say?
Under one: the downward trajectory of SNS is unstoppable.
Two: apart from repression and obliteration of the country, Vučić and his team have nothing more to offer the citizens.
Three: if the entire Ćaciland was mobilized because of three small communities, it is clear that the regime does not have the strength to do something similar in big cities, and especially not at the level of the whole of Serbia.
Four: from one local election to the next, students, choirs, the non-governmental sector and most of the opposition are better organized in their control, as well as in the pre-election campaign.
Five: to excuse the well-intentioned optimists, the results achieved in Mionica, Negotin and Sečnja exceeded the expectations of informed political realists.
