The entire machinery of the Serbian Progressive Party is harnessed to one task: Kosjerić must not fall.
Vučić, Brnabić, Vučević, Glišić, Dacić, SNS officials from Čačak are preparing for the local elections scheduled for June 8, they are frantically paving, painting and polishing, they promise towers and cities, that is, roads and railways, they visit honest hosts who will go head-to-head with the blockaders-armchairs who want to occupy Serbia, and they would start the key offensive right there, in Kosjerić.
State officials are spending state money hand over fist because this municipality was elevated to a level of general progressive importance before the local elections scheduled for June 8.
No one cares about the legal provisions on official campaigns, it has long been used to that, and Kosjerić is the most exposed in action - the Prosecution would have little work to collect evidence, if only they wanted to.
Informer's folk festival
DJ Vučićević announces a "big national celebration" organized by TV Informer for Tuesday, June 3, in the ethnic village of Gajevi near Kosjerić, because that's where Serbia is defending itself, which Vučić says: we don't give Serbia, we don't give Kosjerić.
Everyone is invited to a free barbecue and folk music, to celebrate the President and the victory, because you know who will win, that along with the asphalt that Vučić gives to the people of Kosjer, there is also something to eat, and to invigorate the soul.
Like a battle for the survival of Serbdom
The situation is absurd. It's as if the captain of the SNS ship, which is leaking everywhere, tried to plug the hole closest to him, so he sent the entire crew to patch it.
Viewers of Pink and Informer get the impression that Kosjerić is the scene of the battle for the survival or collapse of Serbia and Serbia, that the bravest soldiers of the parties in power are sent there to resist terrorists who lurk from buses and mislead honest people, those blockaders who are financed by some dark forces, and by God there are quislings among policemen, prosecutors and judges.
The word "students" is avoided here, because students are associated with something positive, only those unfortunate people who occupied Pioneer Park should be called students.
And all this because, for the first time in the Kosjerić elections, under the name of United for Kosjerić, there are representatives of students and the opposition on the same electoral list without any party characteristics or pretensions.
Dangerous model
If this model turns out to be successful, it would put a wind behind the unification of students in the blockade and the opposition under the student flag in some future parliamentary elections, which could turn out to be disastrous for SNS.
It is not entirely certain that the leaders of some opposition parties would be happy about the eventual victory of the United for Kosjerić, those who are offended that the students have relegated them to the margins of political events.
In Kosjerić, Vučić wants to "prove" that he still has legitimacy because the honest people love him, and to shake off the epithet of "coward" that the students gave him, because after all the strong protests and blockades that have been going on since November 1, he will not, will not, call elections and peacefully resolve the boiling situation.
All this also applies to Zaječar.
And all of that is as absurd as progressive Serbia, which the government is pushing into violent confrontations.
