Vucic he likes to say that he is a political veteran. Well, it is. Now he is officially the first President of Serbia in history who had to cancel his visit to the second largest city in the country because the majority of Novi Sad citizens told him that he was not welcome.
How to admit it? It's easy - by bragging... That's it, the "blockaders" will gather, the progressive thugs will blacken in front of their eyes when they see them, and Vučić will not let the police fall off their feet protecting his opponents from supporters.
That manta...
A factor of unrest and destabilization
If he had thought a little about what he was saying, the head of state and the whole of Ćaciland would have turned off the motorcycle: after threatening political opponents with violence, he turned out to be a factor of unrest and destabilization.
Otherwise, the task of the police is to preserve order and peace by dealing with anyone who violates it, including progressives. However, this has not happened anywhere in the last twenty-two months. On the contrary - the cops regularly beat peaceful protesters in the name of God. In that direction, Vučić, right in Novi Sad on September 5, 2025, lit up like an advertisement with happiness when the police beat half the city. Something else is bothering him.
Unity of the čaci and the batinaš
And that is a more than justified fear that even airplanes, trucks and buses will not be able to gather even a respectable number of people for the march to Novi Sad. Because his plan was to present himself as a political Bruce Lee in a city where he can't even be seen drawn - after the blow, he runs his finger over the wound, licks the blood and then cuts off everyone's kidneys.
What he can do on film, he can't do in reality. Indeed, how would Vučić look in front of several thousands of migratory rallyists surrounded by cordons and, behind them, a mass of angry Novi Sad citizens? Not at all like Bruce Lee.

And something else. If violence had occurred in Novi Sad, it would not have remained localized. And the regime - they know it well - does not have enough police and thugs to stand up to the citizens' revolt in the whole country.
Perhaps this very real possibility is the key reason for abandoning the march to Novi Sad. With the slogan "United Serbia", Vučić only loosely united the čati and batinas on his side and much more everyone else against him on the other side.
It's better for him to keep quiet.
Finally, what can Vučić say to the people of Novi Sad? That he lied to them claiming that the canopy was not reconstructed? Or that he was more sorry for the broken windows at the SNS premises than for the sixteen lost lives? Maybe that's why the determination of responsibility for their death is still not started? Something for which in this city the BIA listens to parliamentary party committees, tries people in rigged trials, and he personally amnesties brutal thugs?
When one thinks better, Vučić's march to Novi Sad was canceled even before it was scheduled.
