In those Chinese carnivals, a characteristic figure is a dragon's coat, into which people crawl, and now a dragon several tens of meters long wanders left and right on people's legs, goes up and down and attacks people, but no one is afraid of it because, of course, everyone knows (including children) that it is not he says dragon.
Colleague Nedim Sejdinović showed in his text "How a 10-0 win turns into a loss in no time", that Vučić Aleksandar would like to be a dragon, but he can't.
Local elections in ten places not only are, , Vučić's heavy defeat, but also a clear proof that the citizens broke in, that there is no dragon there, that there is nothing under that pretentious mask, and that they have nothing to fear. Admittedly, instead of the playful Chinese, the Vučićs covered themselves with a model of a dragon thugs and scoundrels who are sold for a few coins, but the citizens knew that, especially the brave observers when they took their bodies out into the street on Sunday.
They were not scared by the paper dragon with a black hood on its head.
That's why - and it's no secret - Vučić stole the elections big time (he stole them before the elections, he stole them on the day of the elections, he steals them after the elections as well). In Arandjelovac, let us remind you, the police made it impossible for students and the opposition to follow the sacks with election materials to the end, so you don't need excessive insight to conclude what is in the sacks that suddenly - apparently after a thorough count - appeared after midnight.
Or, to leave the pictures aside, the citizens in those small towns - primarily thanks to the students - became politicized to such an extent that they defended their electoral will with their bodies, as if in some kind of dark carnival. If they weren't, the theft would be more convincing (as it has been so far). In this way, despite all the terror, all the power of money and all the theft, Vučić barely managed to get one or two councilors more than the opposition.
What should he do?
To what extent has the awareness of the citizens matured, in what kind of pigsty do they live? Citizens rode the wave started by students and the opposition, and it cannot be stopped. Vučić is now, more than before March 29, facing very unpleasant (for him) possibilities, that is, impossibilities. After the collapse in these small elections, it does not occur to him to call extraordinary parliamentary elections because it is quite clear to him that in the entire territory of Serbia, with such angry citizens and calm students, he will have incomparably less control than in these nine places plus one small city.
As far as he is concerned, he could do this until 2028 and the regular parliamentary elections, but the girl's luck is spoiled by the fact that before then the presidential elections follow, in which, for now, he cannot run, and no one else from his team has any chance (he may have them, but with every day in the nightmare that Serbia is in, his chances will be less and less).
So he has several decisions to make and none of them will make him happy. He could try to change the Constitution, as Trump is trying to do, and then run for office one more time. Since he doesn't hate anything when he has to come up with and implement some abomination - maybe he'll try it. If he wins those elections, he would probably have a chance in the parliamentary elections as well. On the other hand, if he loses the presidential elections, the parliament goes to him, and then the Vučić family goes to the whole world. Therefore, it is more likely that they will merge the presidential and parliamentary elections, so what happens. Whatever he decides, he will regret it.
Viewing the world and holding it by the throat
In contrast, what should citizens, students and the opposition do?
Continue the political literacy of citizens, insist on one list and one candidate for the presidential elections (there are no columns), and a single list for the parliamentary elections. In that case, whatever abomination he comes up with, Vučić's chances are slim.
For now, the opposition is the weakest link. If they manage to come to their senses and form a group that will start the fight together with the students - the chances of liberating this country from the occupiers will increase significantly.
Finally, will Vučić try to bypass the elections?
Of course he wants to, nothing is bad for that guy, he is not ashamed of anything and thinks of nothing else but how to (a little longer) stay in power and (a lot more) steal money from the citizens of this country. However, with such angry and increasingly determined citizens, it will not be easy. After all, it's up to him to try. With a team that he has by the throat and that is interested in nothing but money - and, due to such a view of the world (Worldview), and they themselves hold each other by the throats - such an idea would hardly pass.
For true political criminals, ideas were always more important than money (although, again, they were not squeamish about money), so they killed in large numbers for ideas, while for money, they killed, so to speak, selectively. And this one, if we refer to our colleague Sejdinović again, would probably also 'teo', but he can't.
