After it has already pardoned the progressive beaters who dislodged a girl's jaw in Novi Sad, president Aleksandar Vučić will put his protective hand over the woman who broke through the blockade with her car and almost killed a student.
The beauty of vice is that there is nothing to hide. Just as back then the president cheered for those who chased people with cars, so now he protects them from a just punishment.
Because the judiciary, according to the president, is not progressive enough. So he has to intervene, who at fifty-something still boasts that he is supposedly "the best law school student in history."
By the way, when this regime falls, the right to pardons should be taken away from the presidential office as a matter of urgency. That sultan's power is not in accordance with the modern times, and when the president goes wild, like now, then the whole so-called the rule of law and the separation of powers can bite the cat by the tail.
What remained was naked repression.
I say, the beauty of vice is that there is no hiding and everything is clear to everyone. Of the entire expensive PR machinery, only bare repression remained. Now also a signal to thugs and lunatics of all kinds that they can break the bones of the "blockaders" with impunity.
The students and the people in rebellion were thus outlawed - neither their physical integrity nor their lives were guaranteed in Vučić's Serbia. Every act of rebellion in such a state is - necessary self-defense.
On the streets, what political scientist Duško Radosavljević described for "Vreme" recently described as "crushing". The boxers have exchanged blows, they are already tired, and the match comes down to who can stay on their feet longer.
But Vučić knows that he will lose by points when the gong sounds. The trend is inexorable, support for the regime is crowned, obedience is canceled. Although inflatedly repeated, the message is still correct that - fear is gone.
That's why Vučić sends batons, that's why he arrests, that's why he encourages crazy people to run over cars, that's why his tabloid halberds are in constant idiotic attack.
How to survive
With bloodshot eyes - and actually scared to death because they are approaching the fall from power and going to Zabela - the culprits of the regime are thus hurting themselves. The more injustices they inflict, the more they will weaken in this phase of "mortification" and the easier the victory of the students and the people will be.
Because research also shows that even the progressive electorate is not entirely happy when "our children" are trampled on. The limits of propaganda have been reached - stories about the "color revolution" can be repeated to their heart's content. The important thing is that there are more people who don't believe in that nonsense than those who are still deceived.
As Duško Vujošević said first of all, all this will be called last year, but it is worth surviving until then.
They will survive with the necessary self-defense and tight lines. The strength for that is always found more easily by the one who fights for justice, especially when even his life is no longer guaranteed.
