What is happening? Aleksandar Vučić u the last act as far as his presidency is concerned, everything has already been seen a thousand times: a line of self-praise - I'm a great builder and visionary, a line about my own courage - I'm not afraid of anyone, then about the blockaders who want to destroy our country - those who want to rape us.
This time, he tried to show his humanity, sensitivity, and vulnerability, but he did not shed a heavy man's tear at the farewell in Ćaciland.
As for the reason for the resignation of the President of the Republic: it is a marketing move out of compulsion while creating an alibi for everything that is to come, which, admittedly, has two edges.
On the one hand, he can now run around Serbia presenting himself as an ordinary man, one of us, humble and humble, who drives an old Škoda, would he not try to burnish the image to the core of the corrupt Serbian Progressive Party and its arrogant functionaries who have been hit in the head a little too much by money and party protection before the law.
From that strategic position, he can still control the state apparatus through party state officials and de facto pull all the strings, without formally bearing any responsibility for all the unpleasant things that could happen in the tense atmosphere in society until October 25.
On the other hand, a personality cult of a man who is the undisputed leader of Serbs and Serbia has been built around him. By submitting his resignation, he is nobody and nothing, another unemployed Serb, who can now seek support not from a position of power by promising towers and cities, but on the contrary.
Even after his resignation, the regime media can endlessly present him as another Stefan Nemanja or Dušan the Strong, but the news remains that he stepped down from the throne and took off the crown.
Instead of playing the card of a powerful man who listens to the wishes of the poor, he is now playing the card of provoking sympathy, presenting himself as David who built six and a half kilometers of roads and an unknown number of hospitals, who is now single-handedly attacking the blockading Goliath who would destroy it all.
There is also, always questionable, the gratitude he wants to evoke in voters.
As much as it seemed until now that the progressive election campaign had fallen on Serbia, the real tsunami is only now coming far from Vučić's strictly controlled talks with the citizens, which Informer will continue to broadcast as reality.
If the research does not show a sure victory of the SNS, along with all the usual electoral mudslinging by the party that turned the state of Serbia into an autocratic regime, all kinds of provocations and incidents can be expected with the wholehearted support of parts of the police and prosecutor's office.
