Mission of the International Monetary Fund begins his visit to Serbia, and the first meeting was held in National Bank of Serbia (NBS).
A plenary meeting of the IMF mission and the delegation of the Republic of Serbia will be held at the headquarters of the central bank, at 12 Kralja Petra Street, starting at 10 a.m., the NBS announced.
The International Monetary Fund announced on April 26 that Annette Kjobe was appointed as the new head of the IMF mission for Serbia.
"Mrs. Kjobe was previously the acting head of the IMF mission and permanent representative for Russia, head of the IMF mission for North Macedonia and assistant director of the European Department of the IMF," announced Lev Ratnovski, the permanent representative of the IMF for Serbia.
Kyobe has worked extensively on developing and advanced economies, including Poland, Russia, Lebanon and Jordan, and on IMF lending policy.
Kyobe, a Ugandan national, holds a PhD in economics and finance from McGill University in Canada and George Washington University in Washington.
