The City of Belgrade has put for public inspection the Draft Amendments and Supplements to the Plan for the Detailed Regulation of the Area East of the Outer Main Tangent (SMT), on the territory of the city's municipalities Zvezdara and Palilula, which envisages the formation of a new residential and business zone in Mirijevo.
The changes to the plan refer to parts of blocks 7 and 8, in the territory of the cadastral municipality of Mirijevo, and covers an area of 1,14 hectares, writes eKapija.
Mirijevo is one of the most active construction sites in Belgrade. Due to more affordable square footage prices and the constant expansion of infrastructure, numerous new complexes are springing up here. In addition to the zone near SMT, construction is active along the entire settlement, and there are projects such as the "Mirijevski vrtovi" complex or urban complexes at the top of the settlement. Construction almost never stops.

As stated in the planning documentation, the aim of the changes is to create conditions for the formation of areas intended for mixed city centers in the low-rise zone, along the planned road SMT, which in terms of importance belongs to the first-order roads.
The construction of mixed-use buildings is planned, where the ratio of housing and business will be 80 to 20 percent. Commercial contents are mandatory in the ground floors of all planned buildings.
The total gross developed construction area of the planned contents is 23.578 square meters. According to estimates, about 510 residents will be able to live in the future complex, while about 94 jobs are planned.
The client of the plan is a natural person, while the processor of the planning document is the Urban Center. Public inspection will last until July 17.
