Catering services were 5,6 percent more expensive in July of this year than in the same month of 2025, the Republic Institute of Statistics announced.
Service in hotels and restaurants went up in price by 6,1 percent, while accommodation services went up in price by 1,3 percent.
How much has the price of food increased?
Food went up in price by 7,4 percent, and within it, the highest price increase was recorded in ready-made meals by 10,8 percent, followed by stews by 9,1 percent, and in third place is bread, which went up in price by 8,4 percent.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages rose in price by 6,8 percent. The only decrease in price was recorded for accommodation and amounted to 3,4 percent.
What is the situation in Vojvodina?
The prices of hotel and restaurant services in Vojvodina have increased more than at the national level. The price increase amounted to 10 percent, with food increasing in price by 11,8 percent, alcoholic beverages by 8,6 percent, and non-alcoholic beverages by 9,7 percent.
In Vojvodina, the prices of overnight accommodation rose the least, where a 3 percent price increase was recorded.
