She pointed out that NIS received a new license from the USA so that it can continue to operate and supply the market, which allows it to do business with American companies, financial institutions and citizens.
"Sanctions against NIS have already been felt because certain customers switched to other suppliers," said Đedović Handanović.
This week, the Government of Serbia sent a letter to the US administration in which it supported the request of the Serbian Oil Industry for a new delay in the application of sanctions.
At the end of February, the USA postponed their implementation for a month.
In January of this year, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury added NIS to the list of sanctions due to Russian ownership in the company.
