Secretariat for traffic made a decision that from July 14 to Belgrade the municipality of Stari Grad is redefining parking zones, by shortening the allowed parking time in the zones, and parking will be charged on Saturday afternoons and Sundays as well.
The maximum stay time in Zone A (purple zone), which has been expanded and includes part of the former red zone in the municipality of Stari Grad, will be 30 minutes, with no possibility of extension.
Part of the previous yellow zone becomes a red zone (Zone 1), with a parking time limit of 60 minutes, with the possibility of extending it by another 30 minutes.

On lower Dorćol, instead of the current green zone, a new one is being formed - Zone B (white zone), where the maximum parking time will be 180 minutes, and that is 120 minutes of regular parking plus 60 minutes of extended parking.
For the newly formed white zone, an SMS message to pay for parking is sent to the number 9116. Drivers, who come to that part of Belgrade, will in future pay for parking every working day and on Saturdays from 22:14 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., as well as on Sundays from XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.

Parking prices remain the same, so 30 minutes of maximum allowed parking in the purple zone costs 120 dinars.
An hour of parking in the red zone is 80 dinars, and in the white zone 65 dinars, with the possibility of extending the parking time.
In the municipalities of Savski venac, Vračar, Palilula, Zvezdara, Novi Beograd and Zemun, there will be no changes to the Zonal Parking System. The time limit, prices and time of control and collection of parking in the yellow, green and blue zones, which are valid in the territory of these municipalities, will not change.

The monthly ticket for parking the tenant's vehicle will also not change and will cost 500 dinars in the entire area of the Zonal Parking System. Tenants, who on the date of entry into force of the redefined payment and parking control system, have a valid preferential monthly ticket (PPK), will remain valid until it expires. The price of the daily parking ticket remains the same, with the option of paying within 20 days with a 50 percent discount.
Payment for parking is possible, as before, by sending an SMS message, buying an electronic parking ticket or using the "Parking service" application.
