Three bronze medals for Serbian high school students at the Informatics Olympiad

A team of high school students from Serbia at the International Olympiad in Informatics held in Uzbekistan won three bronze medals in competition from 97 countries

Students Mathematical high schools Pavle Damjanović, Nikola Šami and Petar Banović won bronze medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics held in Uzbekistan from August 9 to 16, 2026. Stefan Šebez, also a student of the Mathematical High School, was a member of the Serbian national team.

The team leaders were Marko Milenković from the ETH University in Zurich and Miloš Milutinović from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering University of Belgrade.

The Society of Mathematicians of Serbia announced that 375 competitors from 97 countries participated in the official competition at the International Olympiad in Informatics. The Serbian team won three bronze medals.
