Two boys, aged 16 and 17, were admitted to the Emergency Center in Belgrade on Saturday evening (August 9). with stab wounds which, they claim, were inflicted on them by unknown assailants.
According to the Telegraf.rs portal, around 23 p.m., MM (16) and DM (17) were admitted to the Emergency Center with stab wounds in the arms and legs.
According to unofficial information, the teenagers said that they were walking peacefully in Orlovski naselje in Mirijevo when they were jumped by well-known attackers, writes the portal Nova.rs.
According to the injured teenagers, they were attacked by three men, who, they claim, were armed with knives and had masks over their faces. DM received a stab wound in the arm area, while MM received a stab wound in the leg area and has a head injury.
The police are checking all the circumstances of this event, and the investigation is ongoing.
Fourth case in two weeks
The attack in Mirijevo is not an isolated case. On the contrary, it is the fourth knife attack in the past two weeks alone. Two such incidents ended in death.
At the end of July, mass brawl in Novi Pazar a seventeen-year-old young man was stabbed, who died as a result of his injuries. In addition to him, three other people suffered knife injuries.
Already on August 1, a 19-year-old young man was seriously injured in a knife incident in the Belgrade neighborhood of Braće Jerković and was transported to the Emergency Center to the resuscitation department. As the young man stated, he was attacked by four masked persons, and he also claimed that one of the attackers was carrying an axe.
Just four days later, teenager AM (18) was killed in a mass fight that took place in Bujanovac. He was allegedly stabbed to death by a sixteen-year-old.
